Where do you ship to?
We ship to the U.S. and Canada, for now. We hope to be shipping to more places in the future!
How do you ship the tights?
Our tights are flat and compact, so we are in a unique situation where we can send your order in flat envelopes directly through the mail! We like direct mail because it has a much smaller carbon footprint than bulky courier packages. Our flat envelopes, as well as our poly envelopes (used for larger orders) are both made from recycled materials and are recyclable. We also keep internal packaging and add-in materials to a minimum to reduce weight and waste.
My package hasn’t arrived. What should I do?
We send our packages through direct mail: Canada Post in Canada and USPS in the United States. This means your package will arrive directly in your mailbox, and not by courier or parcel package. If you’ve checked your mailbox and confirmed that your package hasn’t arrived, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will help you directly!
How do you package your tights?
We currently receive our tights from our factory in standard packaging - wrapped around a piece of paper and protected in a plastic sleeve. This is currently the best way to preserve our tights’ quality while getting it from our factory in Italy to our headquarters in Toronto and then to you. We’re always looking for new and innovative ways to ship our tights - if you have any ideas, please let us know!
Can I get a tracking number for shipping?
While there are many benefits to shipping through direct mail (Canada Post, USPS), this type of shipping is not assigned with a tracking number. We understand that this can cause uncertainty and inconvenience and we are working on ways to add an opt-in for express shipping and tracking for an additional fee. If you are worried about a missing order, please double check your mailbox and then email us at email@example.com.
How long will shipping take in Canada?
All orders in Canada will be free over $29, with the exception of our plans, which ship free always. Otherwise, shipping will be a flatrate charge per order. Orders paid will be fulfilled within 3 days, and orders will be delivered within 2-7 days following fulfillment.
How long will shipping take in the U.S.?
All orders in continental U.S. will be free over $29, with the exception of our plans, which ship free always. Otherwise, shipping will be a flatrate charge per order. Orders paid will be fulfilled within 3 days, and orders will be delivered within 3-4 days following fulfillment. Please note that goods being imported (by you) may be assessed for applicable customs duties, taxes, and charges. It is your responsibility to pay for any applicable duties and taxes.
I selected Same-Day Delivery. How does it work?
If you are located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Delivery Zone, you have the option of selecting Same-Day Delivery for an additional $3. All orders placed by 1pm will be delivered by 10pm that evening, with a tracking number sent via SMS or email. All same-day orders placed after 1pm will be delivered by 10pm the following evening. The service runs on business days only (Monday-Friday). Orders placed after 1pm on Friday will be delivered by 10pm the following Monday.
You’re a Canadian company, why are your tights priced in USD?
We are really proud to be a Canadian company. However, all of our business costs (production of tights, packaging, marketing, software infrastructure, etc.) are incurred in USD. We sell in USD in order to hedge exchange rate risk. We hope to eventually have an option to toggle between USD and CAD pricing. We appreciate your understanding and support!
How do the plans work?
We will send you one or two or three pairs of tights each month. Shipping is free and there is no commitment. You can cancel or skip your monthly shipment anytime. We will send you an email two days before your order is processed to give you a heads up, which will allow you to check your tights drawer to decide if you need more this month or if you prefer to skip a month instead!
I don't want my shipment to come every month, but every two or three months instead. Can I do this?
Yes! We can set this up for you. Once you build your plan, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will modify your plan so you receive a shipment at your chosen interval.
Can I change the color from month-to-month?
Yes! You can absolutely change the colors between orders. Please send us an email at email@example.com and we'd be happy to assist you.
Can I change between sheer & opaque from month-to-month?
Yes! You can absolutely change between sheer and opaque. Please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'd be happy to assist you.
Can I increase or decrease the number of tights in my subscription?
Of course. Please send us an email at email@example.com and we'll help you out.
Can I skip a month or move the timing of my next shipment?
Yes! You can choose your plan schedule anytime. Log into your account on the top right corner of the website. Manage Subscription > Manage > Upcoming Orders.
Any plans for a wider range of sizes in the future?
Threads is still very much a new start-up and we are working to expand our sizing and hoping to release additional sizes soon. Sign up for our mailing list and you'll be the first to know when this expanded size selection becomes available.
Can you tell me more about the factory?
After months spent testing different products from 20+ factories around the world, trying to solve for the sweet spot where high quality and cost efficiency intersect, we chose to work with a factory in Northern Italy. We work closely with our factory to incorporate the feedback we collected from hundreds of women.
I'd like to make a return or get a refund.
If you're not happy with your tights, please reach out and send us a note at firstname.lastname@example.org. We're happy to accept returns and refunds on unworn and unopened tights within 30 days of fulfillment.
